WR Garrett Scantling* - Scantling did not play football at Georgia but he did run track - very well too. He was an All-American and SEC Champion and hasn't played football since his high school days in Jacksonville, FL at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville. He signed with Atlanta after a tryout.

MAY 2016 I've often thought that Georgia's success when it comes to putting players into the NFL was a double-edged accomplishment. On one hand, it's great publicity for the program and we all love to follow our favorite Dawgs when they move on to the next level. 2016 NFL DRAFT UPDATE: YEAR 1 ROUND 1 - Leonard Floyd (#9 - Chicago Bears) Outstanding rookie year. Had 33 tackles and 7 sacks with 1 forced fumble and 1 touchdown. ROUND 3 - Jordan Jenkins (#83 - New York Jets) Played very well, starting 11 games and notching 41 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 1 forced fumble.   ROUND 4 - Malcolm Mitchell (#112 - New England Patriots) Won a Super Bowl with the Patriots. Caught 32 passes for  401 yards and 4 TDs. ROUND 5   - John Theus (#145 - San Francisco 49ers) Played in 4 games, starting once.
